It’s not going to be quite as refined as the X, but it’s definitely the most stylish folding e-bike at this price.

Fiido L3 Long-Range Folding E-Bike

The secret of its success is the class-leading 48v 23Ah battery – that’s a whopping 1113Wh of energy capacity, and gives the L3 the longest range of any e-bike in its price range. For under $1000 it’s an absolute bargain and has garnered a loyal following. The only thing that limits its potential is the single-speed set-up – this won’t be much of a problem if you live in a flat area, but could be problematic if you have steep hills to ride up. Fiido D3 Pro Folding E-Bike
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to get from A to B, but don’t want to spend a fortune, the Fiido D3 Pro is a great option. Fiido X Folding Electric Bike
I currently own a Fiido X and the photo above was taken on a recent 35 mile ride up to Dartmoor in Devon, UK. I love this e-bike! It’s surprisingly comfortable and the torque-sensing pedal assist is smooth, efficient and intuitive. I can squeeze 50 miles out of a charge from the 417Wh battery, and it’s very pleasant to ride. The hydraulic brakes work really well and the 350w Aikema hub motor is super quiet and great on moderate hills. The Fiido X is my favourite folding e-bike and I’m looking forward to covering many more miles on it.

Fiido D21 Folding Electric Bike
The Fiido D21 sits halfway between the D11 and the X. It has the same torque-sensing pedal assist and motor as the X, but has mechanical disc brakes, a doesn’t have the wireless battery connection (as on the X). That said, it’s a great compromise if you don’t want to spend the extra for the Fiido X.
