GOGOAL PANTHER F2 Review

GOGOAL Panther F2, a tested fat tire electric bike, has a NEW frame, brake, and saddle, as well as upgrades to the drivetrain and electronics integration, for a smooth start and ride.

Puncture resistant reflective tires, motor inhibiting brakes, and two display panels with more precise battery level indicators demonstrate great attention to detail and safety.

Riders would be more comfortable by a shorter stem, a handlebar with a mid-rise, ergonomic grips, and an adjustable 120mm travel suspension fork.

It is available in two colors: olive green and matte black.

1. FRAME DESIGN

It is safer to avoid exposed wires in internal wiring designs. This would protect the wire by preventing it from colliding with obstacles.

The use of integrated down-tube covers and redesigned wire-out, especially for motor power cables, has increased reliability and repairability.

It is more in line with mountain bike frame geometry, and the height difference between the seat and handlebar is smaller, allowing riders to ride in a more athletic posture.

2. 15AH BATTERY

The battery capacity of the PANTHER F2 model has been increased by 30%, and the extra capacity has been cleverly integrated into a sleek and stiff downtube that lowers the bike’s center of gravity, giving you a centered feel that easily maintains speed in dangerous conditions.

Design with double battery locks, stable and hard to fall off. Do not need to worry about battery safety on your off-road.

3. TIRE

Wide 4″ tires offer stability, traction, and float when traversing soft terrain such as gravel, sand, and snow.

4. ALUMINUM WHEEL RIM:LIGHTER WEIGHT, EASIER TO START

Lighter punched-out rims offset the heavier tires, making it easier for the motor to start.

5. MOTOR

GOGOAL PANTHER F2 has a strong 750w Bafang geared hub motor with a peak output of 1200w,which protect the motor in condition of heavy load .

Although it ships as a 20 mph ebike, its US version can be configured to 28 MPH and is a Class 3 speed pedelec. And if you want to achieve Class 1 for use on some mountain biking trails, you can probably lower the top speed and remove the twist throttle.

6. 25 AMP CONTROLLER:INFLUENCES MAXIMUM OUTPUT POWER

For examples, a powerful 25 amp controller supports a 750-wattwatt hub motor with up to 80 newton meters of torque in a 48 volt 15 amp hour battery system. The punched out rims reduce rolling mass and overall weight, making the bike easier to start.

Therefore, this e-bike starts more closely to the rider’s power and pedaling frequency.Meanwhile, the relatively even power output can make the battery more energy-efficient and longer driving range

By the way, the shift trigger throttle is reliable and ideal for trail riding, because it offers full power override in all 5 assist levels.

7. MOTOR INHIBITORS

Both brake levers have motor inhibitors for added stopping safety. Under braking conditions, the throttle cannot be started.

8. 16 PULSE CADENCE SENSOR

Responsive and durable one-piece magnetic sheet, not easy to fall off. The upgraded electronic sensors are now more durable, smaller, and located near the pedals. They can less likely to get bumped around because they are internal.

9. 42T FRONT GEAR

Compared with 48T,42 T means you can get more leverage power for starting and climbing

FEELING

Because of the wide stable fat tires and 120mm suspension fork travel, the bike felt very comfortable and stable to me. Despite its weight, I believe this could be an excellent choice for riders who want to feel secure and capable of handling a wide range of terrain, including extremely soft terrain. If you come across sand or snow, lower the tire pressure to 5 PSI so you can float and get traction; they won’t work as well if you leave them at the higher 30PSI range. During my test rides, I was also able to coast no-handed with no speed wobble.
